LOCALLY HOSTED TOUR! 

Day 1 ARRIVE CUZCO. 
Upon arrival, you are met and transferred to your hotel. It is prudent to relax for a short while to allow your body to adjust to the high altitude (11,444 ft).

Day 2 CUZCO / MACHU PICCHU / CUZCO. 
Begin with a light gauge rail trip through the Urubamba Valley to Aguas Calientes. Upon arrival here, ascend by bus to Machu Picchu, the "Lost City of the Incas". There are temples, houses, terraces for growing crops and a sacrificial altar. Your guided tour of this citadel is an awe-inspiring experience. This afternoon, return to Cuzco by rail. (B,L)

Day 3 MACHU PICCHU / CUZCO. 
A free morning to explore the ruins at your leisure. Sunrise is an awesome experience. In the afternoon, we suggest a visit to the Plaza del Regocijo, Plaza de Armas, the Cathedral and Santo Domingo Monastery. Then visit the legendary Koricancha and Old Town, with its narrow cobblestone streets. Drive outside the city to visit the fortress of Sacsayhuaman, Tambomachay with its beautiful ceremonial baths and the remarkable Kenko Amphitheater. (B)

Day 4 DEPART CUZCO / ARRIVE LIMA. 
Transfer to Cuzco airport. (B)
